Assisted Projects
Development of Internet-based Occupational Health and Safety Training Tool
Start-up Project, Bogazici University Scientific Research Projects (BAP) coded 14A0SUP1.
The main objective of the project was to develop a safety training tool, namely Virtual Safety Analysis For Engineering applications (V-SAFE). V-SAFE is a virtual environment-based safety training tool, which is developed by Unreal Game Engine to provide a highly engaging safety training platform for trainees in tower crane tasks. The project was assisted by Dr. Kiral under Bogazici University Scientific Research Projects funding. Dr. Kiral plays an important role in the development process of V-SAFE by conducting literature review about virtual construction safety literature, setting-up experimental settings and conducting experiments. Three conference proceedings were published about V-SAFE.

Project Assistant @Bogazici University BAP Scientific Research Project Titled: "Measuring the Virtual Construction Safety Training Effectiveness by Using Eye-Tracking Technologies" (Start-up Project), coded 17A04D5.
The main objective of the project was to measure the effectiveness of developed V-SAFE via eye-tracking metrics. The project was assisted by Dr. Kiral under Bogazici University Scientific Research Projects funding. Dr. Kiral played an important role by writing project proposal reports, conducting literature review about eye-tracking research, setting-up experimental settings and conducting experiments. Thereis one journal paper published about the project.
